Film screening was held at the Jewish Center in Jackson Heights, where a large audience gathered.
Documentary “Songs for a Country”, directed by Shamim Al Amin and inspired by The Concert for Bangladesh, had its premiere screening. American filmmaker Lier Levin, sarod maestro Ustad Ashish Khan, and many others attended.
After the screening, a live performance of tabla, sarod, and sitar captivated the audience.
Guests received souvenir gifts at the end of the screening program.
